I’m Derek Todd, founder of Ignite Learning. I’m a U.S. Air Force veteran, first-generation college graduate, MBA, former adjunct professor at a state university, and have spent nearly a decade serving veterans and their families with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

I’m also a husband and father of three, and I understand how important decisions about education and careers can be for an entire family. Having used the GI Bill myself and helped numerous students pursue their educational and vocational goals, I’ve seen firsthand how valuable the right guidance can be.

I created Ignite Learning because helping people discover opportunities and reach their goals is something I’m genuinely passionate about. Your path doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s—and your plan shouldn’t either.
